The Jefferson R-VII School District would like to update everyone on the road closure on River Cement Road. The road is now open and buses will proceed with normal routes.

The administration is aware of the road closure on River Cement Road due to a non school related accident. The closure may impact bus transportation after school. We will keep our community updated as we receive more information.

R-VII Community: Jefferson County Road Crews will resurface R7 School Road - in front of Plattin Elementary School. The anticipated length to resurface the road is one day, with a follow-up cleaning one week after. The target dates for the resurfacing are Thursday, August 22nd, Friday, August 23rd, or Monday, August 26th, weather permitting.
We have coordinated with the Jefferson County Highway Department and the resurfacing will not affect AM or PM drop-off at Plattin during the project. Please be aware of Highway Crews working and keep our community safe during road improvements.

Jefferson High School Project Prom shoe fundraiser starts this Thursday, August 15th. Clean out your closet for a great cause and support an awesome fundraiser without spending a dime! Bring them with you to open house or drop them off at any of the 4 schools.


2024 Grad Anna Rawe and Sophomore Grady Fallert were both recognized last week at the World Shooting Competition in Sparta, Illinois for making the All Amerocan team for trapshooting. Congratulations!!
