Four years in the Farmington R-7 School District and the last ten years in the Dunklin R-5 School District. Before that, I was a social worker for the Children’s Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services in Jefferson County. I spend most of my free time attending sporting events and activities for my children. When I am not in a gym or at a field, I enjoy spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, listening to live music, and traveling.”
Danby Middle School - Amanda Northcutt
Ms. Amanda Northcutt will join the Jefferson R-VII staff as the school counselor for Danby-Rush Tower Middle School for the 2023-24 school year. She has been in the school counseling field for two years. She received her Bachelor's degrees from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
“After completing my Bachelors degrees, I worked in the foster care field. From these experiences, I decided to pursue a degree that would allow me to help children become more successful students, work with them to help them identify solutions for a variety of problems, and inspire them to do their personal best in their lives. I graduated from Missouri Baptist with my Master’s in School Counseling with an Emphasis in Mental Health. I am beyond excited for the upcoming school year and being able to work with all of the students and families at Danby-Rush Tower Middle School!”
