Jefferson R-VII Board of Education Honors Summer Student Leadership Participants and Staff Achievement
At its September 16, 2026 meeting, the Jefferson R-VII Board of Education recognized notable achievements across the district, celebrating students who participated in statewide summer leadership programs and a major staff academic milestone.
Student Summer Program Recognitions
The Board recognized several students who were selected to represent Jefferson R-VII in prestigious leadership and academic programs over the summer:
Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA): Olivia Bone and Josie Bright
Missouri Girls State: Olivia Lee and Candice Raymond
Missouri Boys State: Grady Fallert, Truett Fallert, Dylan Grayum, Holden Green, and Brennan Martin
Missouri Scholars Academy: Kate Haug and DJ Drysdale

Doctoral Recognition
The Board recognized Dr. Steve Horn for successfully completing his dissertation and earning his doctoral degree through Missouri Baptist University. Earning a doctorate requires immense hard work and dedication, and we are proud to share in celebrating this major milestone.
